Yesterday, today and tommorrow is the experiment Barbie Goes Bungee Jumping. We are basically using a fun, interesting approach to determine linear regression functions.
MAP30S – Factoring Polynomials
Yesterday and today we worked on factoring polynomials with a degree higher than 2. We explored the factor theorem. I handed out an assignment sheet. I also handed out a set of notes. Here are the details that we filled in. Lesson 53 – 09
MAD30S – Circle Geometry
Today we started circle geometry, I handed out a set of notes that we are working on. We will examine geo sketchpad tomorrow in class.
MAD20S – Linear Regression
Today we finished with the linear regression assignment and completed the Olivia Ophington assignment. Tommorrow we will do Billy Boyd and a combined Royalty assignment. Barbie goes bungee jumping will start on Wednesday.
MAD30S – Assembly – Student Elections
Today we had an assembly in the gym. We will continue to work on the Glyph project Tuesday and Wednesday. They will be due Wednesday.
MAD20S – Ball Bounciness Cont…
Yesterday we did an experiment related to the drop height and bounce height of golfballs. Today we will finish graphing the data and use linear regression to calculate the linear equation.

MAD30S – Glyph Project
We will be working on the glyph project for about a week. It is due either Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.
MAD20S – Test Day Cont..
Since so many students missed test day last Thursday, today will be a catch up day. Those that missed will write the test in class and the rest will work on outstanding assignments.
