Unit 2 – Spreadsheets

  • Vocabulary, reading, formating, creating spreadsheets
  • Formulas, recursive, non-recursive, and if statements

Unit 3 – Measurement Conversion

  • Metric and Imperial conversions
  • Micrometer and vernier calipers

Unit 4 – Coordinate Geometry

  • Ordered pairs
  • Midpoint and distance formula
  • Slope formula
  • Understand y=mx+b and how to isolate y
  • The y-intercept and the x-intercept
  • Parallel and perpendicular slope

 Unit 5 – Linear Equations and Applications

  • Enter data into list in the Ti-83
  • Calculate the line of best fit through linear regression
  • Understand Coorelation coefficient
  • Be able to copy and paste a screen from the Ti-83 into Word
  • Be able to use trace, value, zero or intersect on the Ti-83

Unit 6 – Trigonometry

  • Pythagoren Formula
  • SOHCAHTOA
  • Sine Law
  • Cosine Law
  • Solve any trig problem with a combination of the different laws

Unit 7 – Functions

  • Creating scenarios to match graphs
  • Domain and Range
  • Function notation f(x) and g(x)

    when is the exam??

    The exam schedule is on the school web site. Your classes are on specific days. If you have class in slot 4 (right after lunch) then your exam is on Friday at 9 am.
